Meet the Dentist
 Dr. Joel E. Whitt DMDDr. Whitt would love to meet your pediatric dentistry needs. Having five children himself Dr. Whitt understands his patients and is able to make the connections that ease fears and creates a positive experience. Dr. Whitt is originally from Oregon, but has made Idaho his home since 2005. He enjoys all kinds of sports. When he is not spending time with his family he can be found coaching baseball or lacrosse, golfing, or even playing Halo. A unique fact about Dr. Whitt is that he can speak both French and Tahitian. If you want to see Dr. Whitt smile, next time you see him say "Ia ora na" (your-on-a). Ia ora na means "hello" in Tahitian. |
 Dr. Whitt graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors degree in business management in 1997. He then went on to obtain his DMD degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2002. In 2003 Dr. Whitt spent a year at the University of Utah hospital practicing and studying general dentistry. From there Dr. Whitt, his wife Andy, and their four children (#5 was born in Rochester)moved accross the country to Rochester New York to pursue specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Rochester/Eastman Dental Center. After two years in New York Dr. Whitt completed his traing in Pediatric dentistry and than moved back west to the Treasure Valley. In 2007 Dr. Whitt became one of only a few board certified pediatric dentists in the state of Idaho. |
